Begin the evening in the bohemian splendour of the bar or sitting room
where modernist paintings placed alongside antiques make for a
delightful eclectic setting, before dinner in the intimate, candlelit
surroundings of the dining room.
Nick produces fine traditional Welsh cuisine with a contemporary twist,
taking advantage of truly fresh local produce such as organic Welsh
black beef, lamb from the salt marshes of Laugharne and fish, fresh
from Carmarthen market.
The menu changes daily and may include: roasted figs with Gorgonzola
and Parma ham; beef fillet with green peppercorns in a red wine jus;
pan fried lemon sole fillet with purple sprouting broccoli and
watercress sauce; smoked haddock 'crème brulèe'; seared scallops with
tomato and basil sauce; pavlova with berries.
Dinner is served on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.
